roughly chop the nuts and toss in a pass on high heat then leave in the oven on low temp 40°-50°.
remove the pit from the dates and chop roughly.
in the same pan melt the sugar slowly on low heat, meanwhile in another pot melt and mix the butter, honey, marzipan, and coffee spices.
when the sugar is caramelized, mix it all together in the pan.
remove the pan from heat, add the nuts, and dates mix well till combined.
spread between 2 parchment papers and spread using a rolling pin into 2mm thick.
let it cool completely, then cut into desired shapes.
